Our Founder, Greg O’Gorman is the former Group Marketing & E-commerce Director for the Kilkenny Group with over 20 years of industry experience. During his time there, Greg was responsible for all elements of marketing and brand development. Greg lead a team of professionals to make the Kilkenny brand a household name and one of Ireland’s leading retailers.
After earning his Business Degree from MTU, Greg went on to complete an MBS in Business Strategy from the Michael Smurfit Graduate School of Business. The grandson of the successful entrepreneur and founder of Blarney Woollen Mills, Christy Kelleher, he followed in his grandfather’s footsteps becoming a finalist in the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year Awards in 2014.
In 2018, Greg launched Derval.ie with Derval O’ Rourke. Derval.ie became one of Ireland’s most successful B2C Wellbeing platforms with over 18k members. Then, in 2023, he introduced a new brand, SAOL, designed to help businesses support the wellbeing of their employees and clients.
The importance of a building communities, diversity, inclusion and connecting people in today’s hectic world and genuinely supporting each other to feel better is something that inspires me everyday
